General Body Meetings

Our general body meetings are held on the University of Houston campus, one evening per week. On these nights, you will see our gentlemen in uniform business attire. We observe this uniform attire as a means of showing respect to our Fraternity, our Meeting, and our University.

Alliance Homecoming Celebration

The Alliance is a collaborative Homecoming Celebration hosted by Sigma Beta Rho, Omega Delta Phi, and Kappa Alpha Psi. Together we host the largest homecoming tailgate, before the homecoming game, and the longest-running annual homecoming party, the night of the homecoming game. We also participate in Strut Your Stuff Homecoming Talent Competition, Paint the UC Homecoming Window Painting Competition, and Paint Shasta.

Red Light/Green Light

Every Spring Semester, Sigma Beta Rho co-hosts the Red Light/Green Light Party with Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority. Red Light/Green Light is a traffic light party, meaning the attendees choose to wear a red or green bracelet indicating whether they are “taken” or “single”, respectively. This party has proven to be a repeated and popular success.

March Madness Basketball Tournament

Every Spring semester, Sigma Beta Rho hosts the March Madness Basketball Tournament, the most highly-anticipated basketball tournament hosted on the University of Houston campus. It is open to anyone who wishes to participate and has witnessed participants from all over Texas.
